RONALD J. WATSON

President

Ronald J. Watson, President

Ron is founder and President of RJ Watson, Inc.  He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from The State University of New York at Buffalo and over 40 years of experience in the design, manufacture and testing of high load multirotational bearings, seismic isolation devices and bridge deck joint sealing systems. He also has over 25 years experience in the design and application of FRP strengthening materials for structural components.

Ron is active in many technical committees within the American Concrete Institute and the Transportation Research Board. He is Chairman of the American Society of Testing and Materials’ Subcommittees D04.34 and D04.32 on Preformed Joint Seals and Bridges and Structures. Ron is a Fellow of the American Concrete Institute and serves as Chairman of its International Joints and Bearings Research Council which organizes the quinquennial World Congress on Joints, Bearings and Seismic Systems.

RJ Watson is located outside of Buffalo, NY and  has a state of the art 70,000 square foot facility for engineering, fabrication and manufacturing of bearings, joints and other structural devices
