RJ Watson Spray Coating System
RJ Watson uses Chemline’s BRIDGE-TECH system, a complete protective spray coating system, for highway and railroad bridge deck waterproofing.
Chemline’s BRIDGE-TECH
Minimal Downtime
Thanks to innovative polymer technology, the bridge waterproofing membrane can be easily installed via spray, roll-down or squeegee methods—even in harsh conditions, including temperatures below freezing—with minimal downtime.
Substrate Isolating
The spray-applied membrane provides excellent barrier properties, isolating the substrate from the environment.
The top coat is designed to cure slow enough to accept an aggregate, yet fast enough to accept a hot asphalt layer in as little as an hour.
For Highway and Railroad Bridges
RJ Watson uses Chemline’s BRIDGE-TECH system, a complete protective spray coating system, for both highway and railroad bridge deck waterproofing. The bridge waterproofing membrane was engineered for both ease of application and long-term durability. This solution can be used to protect concrete or steel from the elements and de-icing chemicals.

Liquid Waterproofing Membrane

The BRIDGE-TECH system is a cold liquid, spray-applied waterproofing membrane consisting of a polyurethane primer, a membrane coat and a topcoat.
Features
- Durable primer for concrete and metal surfaces
- Rapid curing, cold fluid applied bridge deck waterproofing
- Composite membrane protection mat for ballast application, when specified
- Bridge deck color-stable coating, when specified
- Preformed expansion joint system also available
