RJ Watson manufactures Bridge Bearing devices for a multitude of structural applications.
Disktron Bearing: A high-load multirotational disc bearing which can be custom designed for fixed, unidirectional and multidirectional applications on bridges and other civil engineering structures. Disc bearings are a low maintenance bearing with a 40 year track record. Eradiquake Sliding Isolation Bearing: A state of the art Isolation Bearing System designed to minimize forces and displacements experienced by structures during an earthquake. POD Bridge Bearings: The POD bearing utilizes the proven reliable design technology used by the Disktron Bearing System and incorporates tighter tolerance design parameters to handle the higher braking and traction loads seen in high speed rail applications and other demanding applications. Uplift Bearings: Disktron bearings can be modified to resist uplift loads often seen in seismic areas, curved girders or flood prone structures. Spherical Bearings: RJW Spherical Bearings are used to accommodate thermal, seismic and mechanical expansion and contraction and also provide multidirectional rotation for highway bridges, railway bridges and other civil engineering structures.
